It is sure satisfying to juggle different techniques. I spent an hour on the porch early in the morning, throwing little mini vases. Then, downstairs to trim my redware plates. Then upstairs to work on the table with my books and IPad to refer to historical pictures to etch Sgraffito designs into the redware plates. Very satisfying day! The sun is drying the little vases! I should be able to fire maybe tonight! Then a lot of high fire glazing with the big kiln filled. Again, only two weeks before the show in St. Ignace and then two weeks after that… Lac Ste.
