I was quite surprised to receive a phone call from the Fraser-Clinton Chronicle reporter, Nico Rubello a couple of weeks ago. He was given my name by the publicity people for the Potter’s Market. And, Nico decided to write about my work in our local paper. I was honored. 🙂
The article appeared in the paper today, and I promptly made copies for family and readied one for Agatha to frame for me! A bit excited is putting it mildly!
I had a great experience at the Potter’s Market this past weekend. I had not been in that show since the 80’s and now that I am retired from teaching, I have more time to produce in the studio! I sold so much stock, that I have to get busy and spend the up and coming cold, Michigan winter rebuilding my stock of wares!
Already I am working on some Knitting Bowls for a local Knitting Club. That is going to be fun to make something new! And… there are more slipware plates to be made for Charlestown Landing I hope! They are looking for the “Cat’s Eye” Mochaware and that is a technique I need to perfect, next!
