Another Coyote glaze that pools nicely giving variations in shades of new leaf green. If you look closely the feet are made of stamped little clay balls with flowers and the sides are leaves.

I had fun with this knitting bowl! I bellied out the side to create a ridge that has flowers stamped on it. The glaze is a deeper nigh time sky blue that also pools into the different shapes of the clay lending itself to a variated color of blue.

I can't believe how smooth this glaze is, for a matt glaze it just begs to be touched. Although it is once again one glaze covering this bowl, it also pools nicely and gathers in spots to give it depth of color.

This small knitting bowl reminds me of those earthy colors used on my favorite mugs. It will show off those brightly colored yarns of the master knitter!

This is another blue Coyote glaze that I really like, it is delicate and fills the lines of decoration with a hint of darker blue... it breaks across the different textures and natural waves in the clay to create a subtle variation of blue.

So, again I carefully lift the lid of my huge kiln as finally it has cooled enough to reveal the treasures inside. Not bad, not bad at all! I made some vases and knitting bowls and new mugs. I took a picture of a few of the new pieces this morning while sharing the porch with a huge spider. I felt as though Charlotte were watching over my photography this morning in the early morning sunlight.

  1. The white clay vase pictured is beautiful and would be perfect for Kelly’s house. Do you have it at your house?
